Unique nanoporous structure

The internal structure of aerogel is composed of cross-linked nanoparticles, which are connected to form a skeleton and form a unique porous network structure with an aperture of 20-50 nm. Therefore, aerogel has low density (≤ 0.16 mg/cm3), high specific surface area (400-1000 m2/g), high porosity (90%-99.8%) and low thermal conductivity (~0.012 WM-1K-1).
